About Edinburgh

For a relatively small city, Edinburgh has an amazing amount of things to do and see.

There really is something for everyone with festivals catering for all ages and tastes, top class galleries and theatres and a wide range of visitor attractions including Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish Parliament, Our Dynamic Earth, Rosslyn Chapel and the Royal Yacht Britannia to name just a few.

Edinburgh is easy to get to and easy to get out of (not that you’ll be in a rush!).

Glasgow and the historic cities of Stirling and Perth, are only 40 minutes away by train, while the beautiful Scottish Borders and the beaches and golf links of East Lothian are also easily accessible from the city. Take a train ride over the famous Forth Bridge and visit the Kingdom of Fife.
